LEAGUE REGULATIONS League Seasons and Divisions a) Each Season will be 12 weeks long. Between each Season there will be a 1 week "off" period where the Captain’s Game, The Pro Bowl, Draft, and a Practice Game will take place. b) There are a total of 4 Seasons each year. Season 1 will start on the first Thursday of January, Season 2 will start on the first Thursday of April, Season 3 will start on the first Thursday of July, and Season 4 will start on the first Thursday of October. c) During the regular 12 week Season both a Teams Division and a Solo Division will be played out. d) Scoring for the Teams Division will be based on each Team’s record for Wins, Loses, or Ties. In the event of a Tie, the Team with the highest score will win. Team rankings will have nothing to do with the Solo Division. e) Scoring for the Solo Division will be based on whoever has the lower total score. Points are scored equal to a players rank each game. A player’s ranking in the Solo Division will have nothing to do with the Teams Division. The Draft a) Normally held the week before league begins. Before the beginning of each Season, the League Coordinator will place a new League Signup Sheet for any new players that might sign up. Players who have already played League before will be on the Signup Sheet automatically. b) Players cannot "mask" their names or take any other steps as to cause themselves to be selected by a specific team. However, a player who wishes to change their code name after the draft of the new season, is free to do so at that time and just needs to let their Captain know or tell the League Coordinator. c) The Team Captains "draft" players in order. Captains draw numbers from a hat and pick in that order. Draft will begin shortly after at 8:20pm. Substituting and the Draft a) When a player arrives and is not on the League Team List, the cashier will notify the League Coordinator or any Team Captain if the League Coordinator is not available. The League Coordinator will tell this new player which team they are substituting on as well as have them fill out the Sign-up sheet. The team the player will sub for will be the team with the least amount of players present at that time. During the Captain’s Meeting the player will be permantly drafted onto a team.
