ADVANCED TEAM GAMES There are 3 categories of "advanced games": Advanced, Extreme, and Insane! The Captains will set the schedule of games at the beginning of the season. ADVANCED TEAM ADVANCED This is an Advanced game and similar to team basic but with two added power-ups. The first is Invisibility that will shut down your lights and silence your laser allowing you to move stealth-like around the arena. The second is Invulnerability that will cause your pack lights to flash rapidly and allow you to be hit by laser fire without being deactivated. If you see someone coming your way with rapidly flashing lights, you better take cover!
CAPTURE THE FLAG This game is a base game with two or three teams. The object is to collect 6 credits and exchange them at the enemy base for 300 points. Team coordination is a must in this game because both teams should have an offense, a defense and some snipers in the middle.
* Note: GEM 6 is the Blue Base in a 3 Team Game CAPTURE THE FLAG WITH DARK THIEF This game is a base game with two or three teams. Additionally, we toss in a power-up called DarkThief that you can win from a GEM. The DarkThief will allow you to tag your opponent and steal 50% of their credits and 50% of their ammo.
* Note: GEM 6 is the Blue in a 3 Team Game EXTREME TEAM EXTREME This game is for the Extreme team players. It utilizes many of Blazer Tag's power ups including, Rapid Fire, MegaPower, Invisibility, Invulnerability, DarkThief and Nebuliser. The first two are our standard powers and Invisibility will shut down your lights and silence your laser allowing you to move stealth-like around the arena. Invulnerability will cause your pack lights to flash rapidly and allow you to be hit by laser fire without being deactivated. DarkThief will allow you to tag your opponent and steal 50% of their credits and 50% of their ammo. Nebuliser will shut off the forward laser and emitter while enabling the side emitters. Your phaser will make an unusual charge and discharge sound while emitting a 3 second, 150 degree spread from the left and right sides of your phaser. This game also comes in a solo version (see Solo Extreme).
TEAM EXTREME W/ FRIENDLY FIRE This game is for the Expert team players. The first two are our standard powers and Invisibility will shut down your lights and silence your laser allowing you to move stealth-like around the arena. Invulnerability will cause your pack lights to flash rapidly and allow you to be hit by laser fire without being deactivated. DarkThief will allow you to tag your opponent and steal 50% of their credits and 50% of their ammo. Nebuliser will shut off the forward laser and emitter while enabling the side emitters. Your phaser will make an unusual charge and discharge sound while emitting a 3 second, 150 degree spread from the left and right sides of your phaser. This game also has "Friendly Fire" turned on so you will get penalized for tagging players on your own team.
LIMITED BLAST TEAM A team game just like "Limited Blazer Solo" where you begin with only 50 ammo, 10 energy and 5 lives. Every time you run out of ammo or energy, you lose one life and your ammo and energy are reset to 50 and 10 respectively. Some GEMs will give you more ammo and energy to prolong your lives and one GEM will give you a life for a bunch of credits. Be very careful of how you use your resources. If you run out of lives your LCD will display "Game Over" and you must return to the vesting room. Additionally, we added Invulnerability to this game. For 8 credits you can avoid being tagged for 45 seconds. When you are Invulnerable, your lights will blink on and off really fast.
SOLO BORG PAIRS In this game players pick a "Borged" partner and get entered into the system as a pair. During the game they share the same rank, credits, energy, power-ups and score. If one partner gets rapid fire then the Borged pair gets it. The object of the game is to work as a two-person team to score the most points. After the game, the score cards will show individual points and rank.
BULLDOG One player elects to start the game as the "Bulldog" and is red. All other players are green. If a green player tags a red player then the red player is deactivated for 6 seconds and comes back in the game as the same color (red). If a red player tags a green player then the green player is deactivated for 6 seconds and comes back in the game as a red player. This continues until there is only one green player left. This last player will receive 1,000 points after he/she is tagged and becomes the new red Bulldog. All other player will change to green and the game starts all over. GEMS are non-functional
HIGHLANDER This game is a five level game. Everyone starts out as red on the first level. The object is to gather credits and tag colored GEMs to move up to higher levels. First you use five credits and tag the red GEM to get Rapid Fire. At this point you are still red but you are on level 2 and keep Rapid Fire as long as you are on this level. Next you use 10 credits and tag the green GEM. You now have MegaPower and you change colors to green (level 3). Next you use 10 credits and tag the yellow GEM changing yourself to blue (level 4). Finally, get tagged by a GEM and you will receive the power of ElectroBlaster (level 5). At this point, when you tag anyone, they are out of the game. Their pack will make the "Game Over" sound and display "Game Over" on their LCD. They will now make their way to vesting room for they are not the Highlander. The most important aspect of this game to remember not to be tagged by a GEM when you are not on level 4. It will strike you with lightning and your game will be over.
TEAM ACQUISITION This team game starts with all the GEMs neutral. Players during the first few minutes of the game try to "win" GEMs for their team. Once a player tags a GEM and has enough credits to "win" the power up, the GEM will change color to that player's team. Now only players of the same team color can win the power up from that GEM for the rest of the game. The power ups in this game are Invisibility, which will shut down your lights and silence your laser allowing you to move stealth-like around the arena. DarkThief will allow you to tag your opponent and steal 50% of their credits and 50% of their ammo. Witch Doctor will reset your energy back to 25, give you 1000 ammo and 20 lives. Teams should use strategy and discuss which GEMs they will try to acquire.
GUILD OF THIEVES This game is for all of you credit stealing DarkThief lovers. The game's object is to utilize DarkThief to steal credits until you get 65. Then tag GEM #2 which costs 65 credits (it has "65" displayed on it) and get a 2,000 point boost in your score. All GEMs except for GEM #2 will give you DarkThief for 2 minutes for a cost of only 1 credit. In this game, DarkThief takes 100% of credits only. With virtually everyone cruising around the arena with DarkThief, it is fun to watch the treasure of credits being passed back and forth until someone scores the 2,000 points. Additionally, MegaPower is in GEM #2 so that for 1 minute after you score the big 2,000 points, everyone knows!
PINK PANTHER This game is for all of you credit stealing DarkThief lovers. The game's object is to utilize DarkThief to steal credits until you get 80. Then tag GEM 1 or GEM 6 which costs 80 credits (it has "80" displayed on it) and get a 2,000 point boost in your score and Invulnerability for 30 seconds. GEMs 4 and 5 will give you DarkThief for free until the game ends or you get deactivated. In this game, DarkThief takes 100% of credits only. With virtually everyone cruising around the arena with DarkThief, it is fun to watch the treasure of credits being passed back and forth until someone scores the 2,000 points. Additionally, a SuperMegaPower has been installed in GEMs 2, 3 and 7 that will take 6 energy and 30 points from your enemy.
INSANE GREEN GIANT This is a team game for Expert players looking for complex game. In addition to tagging your opponents as usual, you could tag your own teammates to pass them 2 credits and 2 energy (which means you lose 2 credits and 2 energy). One strategy is designate one player as the person that the whole team passes credits to so that they can score the "Green Giant" GEM and get 2000 points for the team. All the GEMS have lightning in them, which will deactivate you for 10 seconds if you do not have the Rubber Boots on. You will get Electroblaster and 100 points if any GEM tags you while you have the Rubber Boots on. ElectroBlaster will last for 30 secs.
TEAM CHAOS Team Chaos is a game for Experts and should only be played by those players who have at least 25 games of Blazer Tag experience. This is an advanced version of Team Extreme, appropriately called Team Chaos. The object is to use DarkThief to steal credits from your opponents and tag the Chaos GEM worth 2500 points. To prevent massive stealing, SuperMegaPower is in the game as well. It's like MegaPower but it deals triple damage. Additionally there is a very costly Invulnerability GEM in the game for 25 credits. Players can utilize multiple ways to do several things while trying to keep from deactivating.
