ABOUT LASER TAG About Laser Tag / About Laser Tag Pt. 2 / Public Games / Arena Map What is Laser Tag?
Laser tag is a high tech form of hide-and-go-seek and tag for everyone from age 7 to 97. Players wear a light-weight vest and carry a futuristic phaser to "tag" opponents with a visible laser light beam and score points. At the end of the game, each player gets a computer-generated scorecard that shows his or her score, hit-to-shot ratio, rank and winning team.
How do you play? 1. Once you get your ticket, check your game time. Listen for the Blazer Tag staff to call the game over the intercom and then line up at the Briefing Room door. 2. In our Briefing Room, you receive instructions on how to play and the rules of the game, which are: During the game, there will be "Marshalls" throughout the arena to supervise, maintain the quality and safety of the game, and help if you have any questions or problems. 3. Then into the Vesting Room. Look at your ticket to find your pack number. Then look for that number on the wall and you will find your equipment. Place the vest over your shoulders and pick up your phaser. 4. When you are ready, head into our
Arena. It's an indoor maze created by
towers, ramps and bridges that rise up to 3 stories high - in fact it
is the largest laser tag arena in Texas! Lighting effects, music and
fog create an awesome heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping atmosphere.
Once the music starts, the game is on!5. When there are 14 or fewer players, it will be a solo game. Tag anyone you see! When there are 15 or more players, you will either be on the red, green or blue team. Check the color of the lights on your vest and then tag everyone whose lights are a different color from yours! 6. To score, aim your visible, red laser beam at the lights on your opponents' vests and tag them. Once tagged, they will be deactivated and cannot tag or be tagged by another opponent for 6 seconds. Beware, after 6 seconds they will be back in the game looking for you! Continue to Pt. 2 |
